WG Kisn Country is a 2007 model classic Skipper W bred mare that will be going out in 2009 for her debut under saddle with Roxanne Dewes of Advantage Training in Chipman, Alberta.
Kisn is out of Scottish Mightly Lark a Weiscamp branded stallion that came up to Canada and is residing in Hanna, Alberta with the Hayes Brothers. Kisn’s pedigree on her sires side goes back to the great Skippa String that sired get that accumulated 1008 halter points and 269 performance points. Also on Kisn’s pedigree is the great Skip Sir Bar also a Weiscamp bred stallion that accumulated 54 halter points and 74 performance points. Skip Sir Bar received his Superior in Halter as well as being on the AQHA Honor Roll as a steer roping stallion.
On Kisn’s dam’s side of the pedigree who also is out of a branded Weiscamp stallion top and bottom goes back to St Dancer who Weiscamp said was a freak as he was known to breed as good as himself. He was known to breed the best movers Hank had ever seen. Kisn is also double bred Skippa String on her grand dam’s side also.
We are very excited about this filly as she is already proving that she has a good head on her shoulders and has that wonderful long muscle and great front end that we are trying to breed for. Due to an injury as a weanling, Kisn is unable to show in the halter ring, but we cannot wait to see her in the show ring under saddle.
