Legendary Skipper W Bloodlines !!!

News for May 2009

We have decided to put our farm up for sale and disperse our beautiful band of Skipper Ws as we will be moving to British Columbia! We would like to thank all our previous customers and all the people we have met over the years who share our passion for horses. For the 2009 foaling season, we have been once again blessed with beautiful colored babies! We have put a price on all our horses and welcome visitors to come and see them in person. All the information for the sale of the farm is listed on our front page. We will be updating the site regularly. Look forward to hearing from you! take care, April & Brian

News for August, 2008

We are so pleased to hear from Lynda Keating of Glow Farms. She was kind enough to send photos of Ori's 2 year old stud colt and he looks amazing~ he is going to be starting his training for hunter /jumper this summer. He is being used at stud right now to just start him with the mares and then they will get him under saddle. This colt is exactly like Ori in every way! I just cannot believe the size we are getting out of Ori. Thanks to Lynda for the updates! He looks wonderful!

News for April, 2008

Northwind Judey lost her foal as he was born a month too early. So when we found out there were twin colts born to Lana Bollers from LNT Quarterhorses, we offered our assistance, as the dam was rejecting the smallest foal. Judey was a real trooper and didnt think twice in accepting the baby (see photo below). Unfortunately the colt suffered too many complications and didnt make it. We would like to send out our sincere condolences to Lana and family. We admire the dedication you put into keeping the babies during a very difficult time.

News for March, 2008

WG Skips Desperado (2002 - 2007)

We would like to express our sincere condolence to Aaron Wick on the passing of his very special equine. "Denny" passed away from a massive aneurysm that killed him instantly. We were deeply saddened from this news as this colt was such a wonder to be around and handle, he was gentle from the time he was born to the time he passed on. He was born May 6, 2002 and passed way 2007. He was out of Northwind Eco Breeze and Northwind Senorita. Denny was a great little friend to all who knew him right from his breeder to his one and only owner to other people who roped off of him to little girls who used him to start out on barrels. He was the all around little horse we all strive to breed and own. He would have made a wonderful stallion as his disposition was one in a million. He will be sadly missed.

Please drop us an Email or just stop in for a cup of coffee or tea we love to hear what other folks have to say about their horses or our horses!
