He comes from a line of great barrel racers and running horses. The one thing
that got me right from the beginning was his Skipper W background as that is
what I was originally looking for. He comes out of Jags Drifter who goes back
to Mr Horton and Sailalong- "SkipperW". Ori has the one and only Three Bars on
the top and bottom and does he have the movement and speed!
Ori's stride and extension is what sells him for breeding. He has get that are
just starting their jumping carreers and he has a new colt (a yearling) who
will either go jumping or dressage and his owner Linda Keating of Glow Farms in
Mundare, Alberta cannot wait until this colt is old enough to get him started!
She was so excited when that little then palomino colt was born! She had her
new herd stallion and what a catch!
Ori has been bred to numerous mares of different backgrounds and his get are
going every which way but loose! He has some on the track, in the jumping
rings, working cattle and that all around trail horse that will go anywhere and
do anything.
Ori's color is a big seller, as he comes from a buckskin sire and a red dun dam
and he himself is a palomino! Just like a brand new loonie! He consistently throws his wonderful color. His size is 16'1" and his get
are usually 15'3 h.h. or better. They have wonderful dispositions, they love
to be worked with and they love to perform, just like their sire.
HORTONS TRIPLE SKIP aka"Ori" was haltered as a yearling and out of 13 stallions
he took grand champion stallion! What a way to start his career! We were so
pleased with him we decided to keep him home and let him become a great herd
sire. We have decided that he was meant to breed outside mares as well and we
have left his stud fee within range of those that just want great little trail
horses ~ breeders that are looking for some great ring presence can come and use him
also.
We have down sized our herd with the exception of Hortons Triple Skip our first and foremost Palomino stallion. Ori comes from a fine Buckskin sire and a gorgeous Red Dun dam. Ori’s lineage is outstanding if you are looking for that great looking ride with some speed and brains! None other than Three Bars, Mr Horton, Triple Chick and the great Wiescamp bred Scottish Sail.
If you like to play the odds, try breeding to Hortons Triple Skip and see what color you will get. We have breed many different varieties of colors and have gotten many different colors.
Hortons Triple Skip will be standing at stud for the 2011 season in Westbank, B.C. in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, with the odd trip back to Riondel to have a well deserved rest up in the mountains where the deer and the bears play.
The stud fee for AQHA/APHA mares will be $500 and for other breeds $350. The booking fee is $125 (which is non-refundable). Mare care is also added. Call or email to inquire for further details.
Below Are Updated Photos of Ori taken October, 2010:

Ori is AQHA and APHA approved and he has proven he can throw color, just
look at his first Son "Sonny of Whoa and Go Farms" a wonderful palomino tobiano
gelding. His owner Kerry Tinling of Winfield, B.C. was so happy when she got
Sonny, that she sent him to a trainer and got him doing what all of Ori's get
are qualified to do! Photos of Sonny are included in his get gallery below...
