Some breeders are concerned about being there when their baby arrives. At Whoa and Go Quarter Horses, we will monitor your mare 24 hours a day for signs of delivery, assist in the safe delivery and see to the medical needs of mare and foal with our on-call veterinarian.
FOAL-OUT FEE:
$350.00 (Foaling observation/Minor Assistance) plus vet fees if required and $22.00 per day mare care wet and $20.00 per day mare care dry.
We will call you as soon as possible upon the birth of your foal.
RECOMMENDED PRE-FOALING PROGRAM-MARE:
Procedures will be performed if mare hasn’t had them.
RHINO: 5th, 7th, and 9th Month (______ each)
FLU: 7th Month (______)
DEWORMING: Frequency and product determined by your veterinarian
PRE-FOALING VACCINATIONS AND DEWORMING:
2-4 weeks prior to foaling, as follows:
RHINO, EEE/WEE, TETANUS, WEST NILE AND your choice of wormer.
POST FOALING PROCEDURES – FOAL:
These procedures will be performed on foal.
